DESCRIPTION:Rage Against Riverhead 8\, 12 or 24hr Relay or Solo \n\n\n\nSolo or relay teams of 2\, 4 or 6 people completing as many 5km trail laps as possible (non-stop) in either 8\, 12 or 24 hours.\n\n\n\nOne runner at a time on the course which goes through the tent city so you transition right outside your team’s tent! \n\n\n\nSummary of the Relay\n\n\n\n\nStarts at 9am on Saturday 23 November\n\n\n\nSolo people or teams of 2\, 4 or 6 people complete as many laps as they can in the time limit\n\n\n\nOnly one person from each team is running on the course at any time\n\n\n\nEach team will be allocated a tent site on the course at the event base. Teams set up this site as they please and the runners tag right outside their tent site.  BYO Tent.\n\n\n\nTeams decide who runs how many and which laps – totally up to them\n\n\n\nThe event is aimed at all fitness levels from families to running clubs to corporate teams. SUMMARY:The Molesworth Run
DESCRIPTION:The Molesworth Station is New Zealand’s largest high country station and is located in the upper half of the South Island. \n\n\n\nOur 84 km ultra running event runs from the Molesworth Cob Cottage to Hanmer Springs through the Molesworth Station. The race can be done as a Solo-runner\, in a Team of 2 or in a Team of 4 runners. \n\n\n\nFrom the start\, the graveled road climbs Ward Pass 1145 m and descends into Isolated Flat – 250 hectares of expansive grass and tussock lands\, bounded by rolling mountains and massive scree slopes. Once at Red Gate\, the road loosely follows the Acheron River through to the historic Acheron Accommodation house and the confluence of the Acheron and Clarence rivers. From here we follow the Clarence to Jollies Pass – and from there into the North Canterbury town of Hanmer Springs – finishing at the Jollies Pass Hotel historic site on Jollies Pass Road: a total distance of 84 km.
