DESCRIPTION:A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 6.706kms in less than one hour.  When each lap is completed\, the remaining time within the hour is used to recover and replenish for the next hours race.  The race finishes when one person completes one more lap than anyone else.
