DESCRIPTION:The excitement in the air\, as we all queue to board the two handsome passenger catamarans at the Beachcomber wharf this November the 9th\, we will have all the anticipation of the previous 9 half marathons.  The 1 hour cruise to the start line at Anakiwa has a unique energy. As we motor out of Picton Harbour\, huddles of friends gather aboard to tell each other they haven’t done enough training\, perhaps an early excuse just in case they have a slow day\, whilst the more serious close their eyes and focus on everything they have learned in training and then rethink their race plan.
