No personal bests in this event\, just a brand new experience for most and new way to explore Wellington’s great trails. We’ll keep the tracks nice and sure underfoot\, and make sure you arrive home safe and sound. No special gear other than a head torch – with NEW batteries – required. We do require you to carry your mobile phone with you.

DESCRIPTION:So you thought you knew our Coastlines? Get up close and personal with Cook Straight. From the spectacular ridge top views to the rugged Coastal Track this is a day you will not forget. A taxing climb at the start of the run sets you up for easy running (not you\, Long Course runners\, you get a second taxing climb) across the tops with uninterrupted views of Wellington Harbour in one direction and Cook Straight in the other. Later in your run you will be drinking in some salty sea air as you follow the Coastal Track nabs around the spectacular South Coast.
