Set in the picturesque beach town of Pāuanui on the Coromandel Peninsula, this is a trail running experience designed for every level of runner. With four race distances on offer — from a flat and fast 5km right up to a demanding 34km beast — each course showcases the natural beauty and variety of the region.

Winding its way through every race distance is the fast and flowing Tairua River Trail — a local gem that hugs the banks of the Tairua River, through lush native bush and open flats. It’s the perfect introduction to off-road running, whether you’re here for a relaxed outing or setting your sights on a podium finish.
